Waters Upton Parish Council
Waters Upton Parish covers the villages of Waters Upton, Crudgington, Great Bolas, Cold Hatton, Longswood, Sleapford, Meeson and Shray Hill. The Parish Council was formed in 1988.
There are six local Parish Councillors:

Councillor James Griffin
Councillor Ralph Williams
Councillor Alwyn Lee
Councillor Rebecca Eade

Councillors are elected for a four year term of office, but sometimes additional elections or co-options take place within this time. The next elections will take place in May 2015. Anyone resident or working in the Parish is eligible to stand for election.
The Parish Council meets monthly, on the fourth Wednesday in the Village Hall at 7.30p.m. The meetings are open to the public and the first agenda item is always the Public Session which enables any local resident to bring forward to the Council items of interest for future discussion.
The Parish Council works closely with the Borough Councillor and other partner organisations to represent the views of the community and to act in thier best interests at all times.
It is a legal requirement for the Council to publish the Screening Determination for the Waters Upton Neighbourhood Plan.
